Let’s work through
the details.
Share your origin, destination, and preferred delivery timing. A verified inventory helps us plan the truck, labor, and protection your move needs.
Our team will discuss the scope with you and prepare a personalized written estimate. Tell us about any changes to the inventory or access before moving day.
Start your inventory (QubeSheets)One shipment. A coordinated delivery plan.
Ask about dedicated-load and crew arrangements for your booking; confirm what applies to your move in writing. Discuss the route, inventory, requested packing, and pickup and delivery arrangements directly with us. Confirm the agreed plan and any storage needs in writing.
Include belongings in closets, garages, outdoor spaces, and off site units. Flag pianos, safes, antiques, and other pieces that affect equipment and protection.
Access matters at both ends
Send gate instructions, driveway information, stairs, elevator reservations, and loading windows for both properties. A passenger car route does not establish that a moving truck can reach the door.
Your written estimate should identify the pricing basis, inventory, services, and applicable charges. Review changes before authorizing additional work. Current authority must be checked in the official record; a USDOT number alone is not confirmation.
From your first walkthrough to your new front door
Start with a room by room walkthrough, including the garage, patio, and any storage unit. Show the items that need extra attention and tell us what will stay behind.
Next, review packing responsibilities and access at both addresses. Share loading restrictions, elevator reservations, and the best destination contact before the travel plan is finalized.
Keep keys, medication, essential paperwork, and overnight supplies with you. At delivery, use room labels and a floor plan to guide placement, then walk through the completed work with your moving contact.
Long distance moving questions
How is my estimate prepared?
FCRS publishes weight and distance as the basis for long distance estimates. Your inventory, packing, access, storage, and specialty handling also need review. Confirm the complete scope and applicable charges in your written estimate.
What if my new home is not ready?
Tell us about any gap between pickup and possession dates as early as possible. Discuss storage availability, handling, access, costs, and the revised delivery plan before scheduling.
Can you promise a delivery day before reviewing my move?
Delivery timing needs a route, inventory, and access review. Share your preferred dates and confirm the agreed pickup and delivery arrangements with the team.
Before you book
How do I request an estimate?
Request an estimate through our estimate form or call (512) 765-6653. Include both locations, dates, inventory, and access details. Use the optional QubeSheets inventory page to share photographs or videos; confirm the service scope with our team.
Can I combine this with my household move?
Yes. Identify the services and special items when you request your moving estimate so the team, materials, equipment, and schedule can be planned together.
